Regenerative Practice at ETH Zurich

An immersive exhibition of Regenerative Practices at ETH Zurich – pitching MAS QUEST projects by ETH Zurich & MonViso Institute

On Friday, 4 July 2025, 10:30h – 14:30h, ETH Systemic Design Labs (SDL) and the MonViso Institute invite for an immersive exhibition of the DRRS programme with a pitch of the MAS ETH in Regenerative Systems´ Master thesis QUESTs. The Alumni Pavilion´s transformation into an immersive space will showcase the DRRS programme guided by the ”Systemic Design Wheel of Inquiry” framework, navigating complexity from science to art to inner development.

Immersing into the DRRS programme´s first two years
Physical ”memory stations” exhibit our two-year MAS journey — from MOOCs through CAS 1-3 to today’s MAS cohort — each featuring artifacts, prototypes and living-systems demos (e.g. CAS deliverables, visual dialogue maps, field design trip photos, alumni profiles and testimonials, MonViso Institute photogrammetry, sensor-equipped Systemic Cycles bike, bio-composites hemp skis made at ETH,…).

MAS thesis pitches interlinked by systemic governance
The central, large-scale floor-covering ”scale-linking governance spiral” is the basis for linking the eight MAS QUESTs projects, pitched by the MAS students, and opening bridges to further work on regeneration from ETH Zurich´s colleagues and from practice partners.

Regenerative systems practice dialogue expanding beyond ETH

An opportunity to connect and embark
This event both showcases MAS alumni work and strategically embeds DRRS methodologies and practices within ETH’s priorities—fostering cross- and transdisciplinary collaboration, amplifying ETH’s potential in building up leadership for regenerative systems practice, and inviting alumni, colleagues, partners, funders and journalists to engage in real-time systems co-creation.
